Learn to row like a Venetian-standing, facing forward, just like the gondoliers-in a beautiful, traditional Venetian all-wood gondolina batella coda di gambero. See Venice from a unique, authentic perspective in this unique outing: you can't row Venice if you haven't rowed Venice.

We did the Cicchetti Row and loved everything about it. Our Intructor, Nan, was fabulous, the food was fun to experience and the rowing much harder then it looks (but super fun)!!! I would recommend this for all ages - a "must do" activity while...More

Before going to Venice, we had every intention of doing a kayak tour in Venice....that is until I discovered "Row Venice". Sure kayaking would be fun, and an interesting way to experience Venice, but what more unique experience could you have then actually learning how...More

My husband and I decided to try this instead of going for a traditional gondola ride. We wanted to see Venice from the water and this ticked the box whilst being a bit more interesting than the alternatives. It was really good fun and we...More

We had a wonderful experience with Marta learning how to row through the canals of Venice in a gondola. Since it was a bit windy - we stayed within the smaller more peaceful canals instead of the open water. We loved the experience rowing through...More

Excellent trip round Venice waterways, learning the ancient skill of Venetian rowing including running commentary on the history and architecture of Venice. Run by women passionate about women's rowing and restoring traditional boats.

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying
areas, “terra firma” to the locals, which is shorthand
for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

Outstanding reviews! I'd like to book a Row Tour for the evening of Sept 12, for two adults. Do you have times available? And do you have a website that I can use to book the tour? (Or can I just put in a reservation here and take care of payment when we arrive?) Thank you.

Hi, We booked directly through their website: rowvenice It lists available days/times. they are really good about emailing directions to their meeting point. Enjoy!
I plan to book a lesson from my wife and me in late September. What time of day would you recommend? Since my wife likes to take photographs, I have been focused on either the morning (8:30 if it's available or 10:00 or in the afternoon at 16:00.
