I hate taking tours, but I saw this one on the internet and it was only $10 so I decided to do it. The tour only took 40 minutes and had 7 people. The history and inner workings of the clock are very interesting. There...More

This was an amazing tour and the tour guide was fantastic. She was informed, positive, and helpful. You climb to the roof of the tower to see the two figures and find out lots of information about the history of the bell tower and Venice...More

Another fantastic tour that requires advance booking, the tour guide takes a small group (mine was 10 persons) up into the tower where this historic clock has been functioning for centuries. Until the 1990s, there was even a family living there whose responsibility was to...More

Marvellous design and engineering, beautiful to look at and amazing to watch the figures strike the bell on the hour. One of the Must sees in Venice.

This is a nice looking building. If you can time it so that you are there on the hour then you can see the figures come out.

Very interesting clock, a landmark in Venice. Free to see from St Mark square, but if you want to see it inside, you need to pay a tour.

This clock tower was built in 1496 during the Renaissance. If you are facing St. Mark's Basilica, it will be to your left. It marks the beginning of the shopping area which connects St. Mark's Square and the Rialto Bridge. You can go inside it...More

We did not book tickets inside but we admired the clock from the ground, top of the tower as well as the roof of saint marks. The blue face is beautiful, but the way the clock provides dual time (regular hands plus digital) is pretty...More
