Ones sees this church across the Grand Canal from St. Mark's Square. It is well worth a visit to explore this well-lit church with its amazing statues. On a hot day, sit on the steps and take in the view across the Grand Canal.

A very beautiful Venetian basilica. The art that is hung on the walls is wonderful and it is a very worthwhile visit. Yona S.

Ducked in here as it poured rain one afternoon. Beautiful, almost stoic bastilica. Lots of places to sit and pray or contemplate Venice.

Beautiful Church in simpler style than the ones one usually sees in Italy but beautiful. Worth a visit....it is small and does not take long to look around.

This is a must see while in Venice. Beautiful. They also have a 3:30 daily organ vesper concert - while we were there this concert included a beautiful Contralto Soprano singing. Amazing!

This striking white two-domed basilica occupies a prime position at the junction of two waterways. It has grand steps which lead up to its main entrance. Inside, instead of the traditional 'cross' design, this is an unusual octagonal arrangement but it's still very imposing and...More

You can feel peaceful when you come inside. The church is very beautiful, even more outside. In my opinion, something that you must visit if you are in Venice.
