This is definitely something for tourists. We went to the night of opera classics which consisted of a pianist and a male and female soloist. With no introduction the pianist starts playing and on walks the male performer to sing Figaro. Then he walks off...More

We went to this concert last night and it was perfect. The musicians were super with Vivaldi played beautifully. All of them played with care and dedication. I’ve not been to anything like this before, and found the setting and ambience made this a great...More

We saw the opera aria ..hardly anyone there and fantastic..piano beautiful...and singing really great. Vivaldi on Christmas eve sold out ! Really enjoyable. Double base player sick so a young lad drafted in last minute..did a great job. Interesting location, the old prison .

Where on earth did they find these musicians? They were not able to play a single piece in tune, and it was painful to listen to. Our son, who is a violinist, sat there in disbelief. If this had been the neighborhood's 12 year-olds coming...More

This made a lovely change from being in the hustle & bustle outside. The musicians were fantastic and the venue all added to the atmosphere of the occasion. If you can fit this in on your Venice trip you will not be disappointed.

I would defiantly recommend doing this in Venice. The scenery- being in the prison wAs fabulous and the sounds beautiful echoing off the walls. The orchestra were fantastic and hugely talented! A must do! Even if you didn't know the artist- you'd recognise the music.

This was just beautiful, and one of the highlights of my time in Venice. The setting made it extra special too. There was no singing at the concert I attended so I cannot comment, but the music was outstanding and it was excellent value for...More

Fabulous music in a unique setting. The musicians are quite good and their sound resonates in the setting of the Palazzo delle Prigioni. It vibrates with feeling and will fill you with joy.
