One of dozens of churches to visit in Venice. Go up to the bell tower for a great view of the city. But beware - the only access is by boat, you cannot walk on or off the island where the church is located.

We returned from visiting this location just as a thunderstorm started. It was magical - the lightning, the color, the dramatic views of the church from the Grand Canal. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Very quiet here away from the crowds, pleasant to walk around and a really good view of Venice from the Campanile, which has a lift.

Entrance to the church was free. We chose to take the elevator in this bell tower rather than climb St. Mark's so our pictures would include St. Mark's Square. So happy we did this and it was empty with no line! Unheard of in July...More

We always buy a vaporetto ticket for the week we are staying in Venice so I am not sure about the ruling on two separate trips. I my view it is probably just as cheap to buy a day ticket and you would be able to hop on and... More
