Great atmosphere bar with good table service and brilliant cocktails. They certainly don't scrimp on alcohol content or creativity with the cocktails. Its got a cool and quirky style with bras covering the whole ceiling. Only snag is the cost. 10+ Euros for a cocktail is more than I'd pay normally. But if you come 4-6pm it's buy one get... More

Quite a disappointing visit after reading a couple of reviews on TA. Basically Baraco Jazz is just a pub with jazz music from a playlist. No live music, overcharging cheap drinks and 85% of the floor is a restaurant which is strictly guarded.

The reason for the 4* and not 5 was simply because i had emailed the week before our travels and not heard back from them.... We simply found it when we was stopping off for a break and i recognised the bra ceiling!! Went in around lunchtime to get out the rain and ended up having a few cocktails and... More

Great little bar with good pizza and drinks. Playing jazz music and attentive staff. Bras line the ceiling makes it more interesting and close to the Rialto Bridge so they get the crowds at night.

Called in for a drink and was not impressed with this bar overpriced big time and if you wanted to use the toilets be prepared for a shock an absolute disgrace the worst place I've encountered on my travels

The bar is very cosy, the staff was very friendly. Cocktails were at high level. The bar has bras all over the ceiling which was quite interesting. Music was great, they've put some concerts on the screen.

Found this on our walk about and popped in for a quick drink. Stayed a couple of hours! Bar is very rustic but the thing you notice immediately is the ceiling is covered in ladies bra's!!. They have a "happy hour when you get 2 drinks for the price of one which includes some cocktails and the music is brilliant.

Nice pina coladas and good atmosphere. Not live jazz as I expected but looped video as well as sports TV. Went back for more pinas and food. Friendly staff, ceiling hung with bras.....not mine as it would have taken up all the room!

Finding this brilliant bar on the first night of our week in Venice was one the very best things about the trip. The happy hour is a great plus point, but even without that it has a great atmosphere, lovely staff and a huge range of drinks. If you are lucky enough to grab yourself a spot at the bar... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
