When your feet and legs tire from the pounding take a water trip around the lagoons. Very interesting and you can lose yourself in it. Loved the water trips!!!

Like nowhere else on the planet, the history, architecture, the art. The vaporetto or water bus is an excellent way to see everything on the canals.

A really fine day out, we travelled to Murano (famous for its glass factories and glass-blowing) and Burano (famous for lace making and the beautiful multi coloured houses) and of course much much sailing on Laguna di Venezia.

I think the master glass blowing demonstration in one of the factory on the island of Murano is free. But you need to check the time when demonstration is given to the public.
