It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

Cool vibe

Piazza femme Erbe has a great vibe! Beautiful buildings, lively shops and market and wonderful restaurants. Have a glass of vino or dinner and soak it all in.

I take it - may be unusual for me due to not having travelled muc in Italy, but the painted buildings, mixed with castle-like, colonnades and azurebalconies are really a fine mess to look at. My architecture affinity was really rather nicely pleased :) and you can see and eat at the square, relaxing at the scenery and imagining how... More

The square is not something extraordinary, but is quite pleasant in nice weather. There a lot of restaurants and cafes, but they seem to be too touristic. The amphitheatre at one end of the square is worth visiting.

This piazza had two faces at the weekend during the day the market stalls take pride of place but once night falls the restaurants come into their own. The whole place has a great atmosphere at night with all restaurants buzzing. Ideal place to dine and watch the world go by. Taxi rank is also situated here.

We visited this Piazza for the first time at night and were bowled over by its charm. There are many restaurants situated on one side, all bustling with patrons either eating or indulging in the favourite aperitif of Italy, Aperol Spritz. The fountain and statue are all beautifully lit at night. We returned the next day to see the murals... More

It was great fun to sit outdoors and admire the surrounding buildings, the bustle of the market and the fountain - a great favourite of the dogs who played in it.

This is a delightful piazza where you can take a rest at the many restaurants and then browse the stalls.

Lovely walk going through this piazza, they had a market full of cheap things - very fun! The architecture is old and interesting, almost majestic. I felt very relaxed walking through Verona.
