This square goes back to medieval times. Very interesting, and the market stalls are fun to visit. You can just imagine what it was like way back when.

Very close to the main square Erbe, there is a monument to Dante and two palaces. There are also several restaurants.

we walked here when we had a city tour, the square is big and on one corner there is a great gelato place, definitely worth a stop.

I was a littler disappointed when I visited this square. Although there were some nice buildings Piazza delle erbe had some life in it. Nice but not the best.

There was a stunning Christmas tree in the Piazza when we were there, and this somehow enhanced the differences between the historical buildings and newer times! Take some time to look around and appreciate the setting.

Small piazza but the most nice one in Verona. It is surrounded by old beautiful buildings and in the centre is a big statue of Dante. Do not miss this Piazza.

Piazza dei Signori often suffers by comparison to Piazza Bra and Piazza Erbe. However, one of the joys of Verona is the Christmas market held here in December for a few weeks. It does mean that the statue of Dante ends up in the middle...More
