Too many people....it was like a subway in rush hour and we could not see the house.... Even though it is worthwhile to go but not to stay!

Go early to get a good feel for this attraction. There are so many people in the afternoons that it's almost impossible to get a good look. It's very romantic and the walls are really covered with an emerse amount of messages of love.

Easy to find, get in and get out. We went on a Monday and visited two times. Both were accessible and crowds moved smoothly. To get up on the balcony you pay to see Juliette's house, for simple photos it is free access. A must...More

When we arrived at the balcony we were a group booking of about 60. At first we got directed to look around the house, and when that was done they would not let us go into the balcony, even though we still had 10 minutes...More

Very busy as I visited at lunchtime. Beautiful balcony and the bronze Juliet. Left a padlock with mine and my husbands initials. It is lucky to touch Juliet's breast so be patient for pictures. The little embroidered items are beautiful

Really dissapointing. And plenty of people. Impossible to visit with calm. Not recommendable at all.

We went, because, of course, you have to see it while in Verona. We arrived around 17:00. Lots of people, making it hard to push through the crowd. The balcony is not original, but has been reconstructed from another old balcony, so gives you a...More

Yes, this is not the real balcony of Giulietta since she is a fictional character. Historically this house might have belonged to the Cappello family, who may have been the model for the Capulets of Romeo and Juliet. The balcony itself made only in the...More

Maybe I am lacking a romantic side but it is truly hard to find anything vaguely enticing about an unimpressive balcony, an uninspiring statue and a courtyard teeming with tourists and overpriced tat. Even the way in is full of frankly awful 'romantic' statements originally...More

If you're in Verona, of course you have to pass by the house of Giulietta. Was it worth it? Well... I've been here twice now. The first time, years ago there were a lot of people. Now it was really crowded! You just enter a...More

No letters are allowed but you can buy a permanent marker and padlock to write initials or a word that means something special to you and lock it on the gate!

You better take a taxi from Stazione aporta Nuova at Verona to Piazza Bra then you'll walk a few minutes, following the street signs. It's very close to that spot.
