Beautiful bridge with sweeping views of the Adige river and city of Verona. Well worth the walk over to appreciate the views.

Pointe Pietra spans the River Adige. The water is a beautiful creamy- green colour, and flows strongly under this and other bridges. Out of all the bridges in Verona this is one of the best. Graceful arches, interesting architecture and a path along the river,...More

Good place to stay in Verona. Parking on other side of "Ponte Pietra", 200 meters walking about. Not so good if you have bigger car. Possible to drive in and leave luggage.

I came across the bridge as it leads straight to the steps to take you up to the Castel San Pietro. It’s not as impressive as some of the other bridges in Verona but well worth a look.

This beautiful bridge is well worth a visit. The fast flowing river Adige, beautiful views up and down river, quaint restaurants on the rivers edge and the fantastic "Chiasa di Santa Anastasia" very close indeed.

Well worth the walk from the main square to see the incredibly designed architectural wonder and feel the breeze on a hot day as you watch the fast flowing river below. Having come this far, do make the trip up to the castle above for...More
