Beautiful old Roman bridge over looking the Adige river.
The bridge was destroyed in the war and rebuilt after so you can see where the bridge was damaged.
Perfect for early morning or sunset photos and a great place to enjoy an ice-cream whilst listening to the church bells in the distance. This bridge is very peaceful and not too overcrowded with tourists.

Very beautiful old Roman five arch bridge crossing the Adige river. The original was built 100 BC making it the oldest bridge in Verona. Rebuilt in 1298 but it still contains Roman elements. Also bombed by the Germans during the final stages of World War II but restored to its former shape in 1959. It has a beautiful setting with a portal to the Old Town to the south and the foot of St.Pietro Hill to the north.

We spent some time on the bridge listening to the cathedral bells and thinking of all the centuries that passed since the bridge was built

Just in front of Castel San Pietro. This is my favorite bridge in the city. Really old and well preserved.

The famous bridge in Verona boasts great views and, in the current climate, less tourists than usual. Walking along the banks of the river is quite pleasant. I would have given an extra star but for the fact that the water does not look particularly appealing.

Ponte Pietra is a super beautiful place to visit. The view is fantastic at the Duomo of Castel San Pietro. We brought drinks and food. We went up with a lift, 1 euro one way. And down on foot. We really enjoyed this

A lovely bridge not too far from Juliet's balcony and much better for pictures and romance. Would definitely recommend when in Verona

From Piazza dell'erba it's just a short distance to this lovely bridge and you are outside the tourist area. From here walk to the other side and walk up the hill ( or take funicolare) for a splendid breathtaking view over Verona.
