A place really closed to God - inspiring, touching deep and magnetising. Felt sad and happy there the same time. Broke out from usual routine. A miracle happened to me here.

This is a big church with a huge amount of Art as well as religious objects on view. Worth a visit but not essential . One great aspect of all churches is that they are cool oasis of calm with seats. On that front alone I enjoyed my visit.

This was the only church we visited in Verona, but we picked a winner. It has been restored, and looks the goods! It is stunning with the most beautiful ceilings. About 7€ to go in and look and you can take photos.

Breathtaking Sant’Anastasia, an exquisite Dominican church built from 1290-1481. We are transfixed by magnificent pre-Easter rehearsals of choir, organ, and orchestra. (Bach, Handel, and, yes, Ennio Morricone – spaghetti western composer).

the best is to get a 24hours card which give you the possibility to visit many churches, the caste, the arenas and of course Juliette´s house

We visited this church on a wet and dreary day and a wedding was just about to take place so we were lucky to see the bride arrive in her gorgeous dress. Because of the ceremony we were only able to go inside a short way but the ceiling was stunning and there were lovely statues on the walls. Definitely... More

Truly amazing church ( bigger than many cathedrals) which is full of interesting centuries old art and sculpure .I guess you could spend days in here and still find new things to explore such is the detail of the place . A must see if you like religious sites or art

Beautiful church, well worth visiting as it's very central and lots to look at. Wonderful art work. Entrance fee of €2.50 very cheap.
