This is a truly beautiful medieval church amidst the sweeping Palladian architecture which pops up everywhere in Vicenza . Each makes you appreciate the other. The fine Palladian basilica a few minutes walk away built as a town hall and this lovely older church contrast...More

There's a lovely enclosed garden round the back of the church; turn right as you face the main door and walk anti-clockwise round the church till you find a small gate. I tranquil, shady spot. Enjoy.

I truly disagree with the previous reviewer's comment that this church is "average". I cannot fathom how one can describe this cathedral in such a mundane way. Perhaps this lad was having a bad day, I don't know. But don't be put off by that...More

It has got a nice piazza in front with a fountain and coffee places and some sort of sculpture the kids played on. As churches go in Italy it is quite average, nice enough to peek into.

Very beautiful church - pretty nice interior for Gothic exterior)! There's no entrance fee - why not have a look at it).

This is good example of Gothic architecture in central Vicenza. Best of all it is free. Started in the 1200s, it was later used as a stable by Napoleon. Free wifi and some great wine bars in the piazza.

This is quite a lovely church. It is worth it to walk through. There is a relaxing courtyard as well. Wonderful!
