The centre of the old town was the highlight of our stay in Bari. Full of narrow streets with overhanging washing and locals going about their daily lives. Each twist in the street will lead you to some different church or scene or small area....More

I spent an afternoon in Bari and was pleasantly surprised at how pretty it is. The historic centre is lovely and there are trees everywhere. It is a working sea port with lots of boats so it is nice to sit at the port area...More

An interesting ald town, many tourists, good food (italian food), the best ice cream, near the Adriatic See, all for decent prices.

Bari seems to have a reputation as being rough but we really enjoyed the afternoon we spent strolling the old city. Beautiful narrow streets with lots of little surprises.

I always read that Bari was only a transit city, because of it's airport.. Wrong! Once I got there I absolutely loved it. It's the closest to north italy as you can get in the south, full of shops and cafes.. perfect!
