Great collection of plants, especially the greenhouse with the fantastic succulent collection. But follow the identifiers on the brochure to see everything, including the Pampanini Fountain in the back and the surprising remnants of Roman ruins. Well worth a visit!

Our visit of the botanical gardens of Cagliari helped us to relax a bit. The ancient cistern is really a must see. Some papyrus plants in a tank are also worthwhile. Do not expect crowds as mass tourism has not discovered this calm place yet....More

I always visit the local botanical gardens when I travel and this garden did not disappoint. Very lovely and friendly, helpful staff.

Incredible variety of plants which are uniformly well labeled. A nice mix of historical elements (e.g. the end of the Roman viaducts, the Roman Cistern/cave) plants and supporting elements like the nursery and greenhouses. Impressive amount of buildings around the garden perimeter supporting the work....More

Well laid out and with information to guide you on your walk, this was a lovely spot for anyone with an interest in nature. Next door to the Roman Amphitheatre, the botanic gardens also boasts a Punic cave and Roman cisterns.

The gardens felt a little run down and unloved when we visited, but this could have been because is was out of season. In October there are very few colourful plants to see but the cactus and exotic section is still nice to wander around.

beautiful, but, it could be better maintained. Some parts had a lot of dead plants and it's expensive.
