Nice walk in shaded areas to take a break from the sun and the heat. Not a large area so only 30-45 minutes needed. Admission is free. Just a lovely location to take a cooling break in the middle of the city. Totally self paced...More

If you are somewhere nearby (via Etnea) just take a quick glance on Botanical Garden. Entrance is for free, it is not a big area, but you may see some different types of palm trees and pretty impressive collection of succulents (cactuses etc.). Nice place...More

It is a small but very nice little parc. Perfect for a little stroll and - what might shock you in Italy - it is free of charge. If you walk down via edna, you should pay it a visit.

Nice place for walk and relaxing-best way to escape from the heat. Only minus-a lot of mosquitoes so take a spray with you.

Very nice botanic garden with fantastic cactuses, but not only. It is worth to go there especially when it is hot, as you can find a lot of shadow there. This place is good for visitors in each age, there is no entrance fee.

If you've made it to the Bellini Garden, it would be a shame not to walk up another five minutes to the Botanic Garden. The map on tripadvisor shows the tradesman's entrance - the main entrance is on Via Etnea but as admission is now...More

I don't know but I don't see why not. It's only a small place, not a massive botanical garden.
