"First...In San Berillo District" is a new little pub, located in the city center, beside "via San Giuliano", in a very suggestive square called "Piazza delle Belle". Before, San Berillo was one of the largest red light district in the Southern Italy, nowadays the square has reborn with the name "Piazza goliarda sapienza".

We've been twice during our time in Catania. It is not the cheapest place to get cocktails but they were so nice. The setting is lovely and it is surrounded by great Trattoria (we have tried 2). The staff are awesome. So 5 stars from us.

We were exploring the city centre of the city, and randomly walking we found a little square with this stunning bar!
The conservatory, the tables and benches outside the bar are surrounded from a lot of weird furnishing and graffiti.
Inside the bar, there are few tables, and all the furniture and frames are amazing!
You cloud stay watching for hours all the details of the room.
They have a good selection of cocktails, wines and artisan beers.
Highly recommended to have a night out, in a quiet and cosy place.

Loved everything about it -- definitely was the best of the Apericenas experienced on this trip to Sicily. Had not been to Catania in nearly 15 years and there was much to enjoy this time around — exciting food scene in particular.
The First Lounge Bar was a wonderful place to kick back and relax, enjoy some drinks and eat some street food! The garden has some very well taken care of plants and a fountain, some live music and the right amount of lighting.
Highly recommend!

Have been waiting for our desserts for almost an hour. After giving it up, asked for the bill. The missing parts have been added to the bill after all. Not even a "sorry" has been told.
The meals were fine anyway, but we have left with a bad taste in the mouth, will never going back. :(

Amazing place in the art district. Would definitely visit again when in Catania. Amazing cocktails and food.

We loved The San Berrillo district
The first lounge bar was good too
Really enjoyed my Mojito with Williams Pear - I need to show them how to make a Bloody Mary though...
I have to say I think Collage up off Via Etnea beats it for drinks if not the setting

I came from germany to visit this place and I was very amazed by the vibes there!
The drinks are excellent and the service is over the top especially julio ! :)
A must go in Catania!
P.s. Its pretty hard to find so ask for advice from the locals.

I love to go to San Birillo District and First is my favourite place to sit for a beer and food. Nothing is ordinary and the service is the best in Europe😬every waiter smiles and is so friendly. II wish I could find always same service in Holland. Bravi ragazzi. Keep up with the good job! See you in December

We found this place accidentally, hidden cozy lounge with friendly staff and great pizza and variety of cocktails/wine.
The margeritha pizza was delicious with crunchy thin crust, the apperol cocktail was great.

First is a little off the beaten track, and not that easy to find until you hit the signs and then you cannot miss it. The side roads leading to it are beautiful and full of plants hanging from the walls. When you get to First, the trend continues, and the is even a little alcove with a bench with flowers all around. Such a beautiful place!
The food is cheaply priced, with starters, 2 pizzas, a class of wine and a beer being around 30 euro.
It was so good, I had to go back! It's one of those places you can just sit down with a drink and watch the world go by.
