We saw this church on the hill when we entered the city so we asked how to get there. It's quite a hike with LOTS of steps. You can take a taxi up if needed and it would be worth it! The view is spectacular!...More

We were in Messina on the Celebrity Constellation and decided to visit this church which we had seen from the ship. There are many steps up to this elegant building which took its toll on a very hot day. However the church itself is well...More

Our B&B owner, Fabio (Garibaldi B&B) recommended we see this church as it overlooks all of Messina, especially the harbor. Even though it was a trek to get there, it was worth every step. And, we were there at 12:00 and we could hear the...More

Nice church with a fantastic view over Messina, the harbour and Calabria. If you like a beautiful view and the weather is good then this is the place to be.

The walk up is quite exhausting especially in the summer heat but the view up there is lovely and very peaceful. There is a water fountain to refresh yourself and for a cool drink. The church itself is pretty from the inside and outside with...More

Did not have a chance to visit the interior but the veranda overlooking the straight of Messina makes for a great photo op and is a calm and quiet place to admire the view without crowds.

Walked up all the stairs and found this by accident. Views are lovely and you can sit and watch the cruise ships coming in. Church is pretty.
