This is just beautiful but tucked away from the regular tourist stops. It's really gorgeous and paid 6 euros for here and the other oratory round the corner (again use trip advisor maps to find) it's tricky otherwise.

Another very extravagant baroque Oratorio of Giacomo Serpotta. The sculptures floating above you and are prepared to go to heaven or fall on the ground.

Although not as grand as the Oratorio di Santa Cita down the street, this oratorio has interesting features as well. The star of the show is supposed to be the beautiful altarpiece by Van Dyck which shines center stage in the space, but the stucco...More

We bought a combination ticket for this oratorio and for the oratorio of Santa Cita down the street. The young woman working here was lovely and very eager to practise her English. The audioguide was well-worth a listen. Of the two oratorios, this was my...More

This church was not on our list. We bought the combination ticket for Santa Cita and this church for additional 2 Euros. The sculptures were less impressive than Santa Cita. The highlight was the painting by Van Dyck.

Just behind St. Dominica church is the small but mighty Oratory of the Rosary. For a few euros you can have a self-guided tour of this beautiful Baroque space. It is small but extremely interesting, especially to me at least the stucco work by Serpotta....More

Baroque in full force at this marvellous work of art, that happens to be a church. Combine with a visit to St. Cita and be blown away by craftsmanship of the highest order - equal to that found in Florence. St. Cita was my favourite...More

While we were looking for the Oratory of S. Cita, we stumbled upon this Oratory and were able to get a combo ticket for both locations (which are walking distance of each other). The best part is that there is an audio guide included that...More

Founded in 1568, the paintings and sculptures are beautiful. The huge painting by Van Dyck "Madonna of the Rosary" in hanging in the church.

Different from Serpotta's work in Oratorio Santa Sita, and perhaps not as ornate, but this one has more colour and a more elaborate ceiling. Instead of the stucco detail there are many paintings on the walls. Good to see more than one of the Oratorios...More
