An excellent show. Couldn't understand a word, but followed the story. Very dark, but terrific. A lovely venue

We went to the theatre as part of a tour -- this was not something that we had sought. But we had a delightful time. The marionettes were just amazing.

Don't be worried if you are not a kid or do not speak Italian. There are only so many things that puppets can do -- fight a giant, kill a dragon, mix it up with a monk, or . . . I won't ruin the end. Just sit back and enjoy the kids slipping from reality to fantasy -- and... More

A puppet theater wasn't on our list of places we ever dreamed of going during our many travels abroad, but this option was on the list of available activities on a recent group tour that stopped in Siracusa. The small theater was filled to capacity, and the 45-minute show was a piece of Sicilian culture that we're glad to have... More

We were not very excited about a puppet show, but went as part of a group tour and had a great time. The show only lasts about 45 minutes and is entirely in Italian, so while we did not understand all the details of the plot, the storyline and action are fairly easy to follow. Best part of the show... More

Attended this show as part of a Rick Steves Tour Group. We thought it might be silly, a "poopy" (sort of their pronunciation) show! But, it was great fun and fascinating to watch the process. Great fights between warring puppet knights, fun sound effects and an "intimate" setting, so it's easy to see & follow the action. And, there's a... More

What a treat! I was not too happy about going to this puppet theater figuring that it was some kinda schlocky deal. What a surprise. They handed you the description of what was to occur during the short play featuring the puppets. Hmmm. Not really sure what will be happening, but I do know that good overcomes evil in these... We saw a notice at a bar advertising this theatre so went along to see what it was all about. A good job that we arrived early as it became full quite quickly. It is all in Italian but you are given a leaflet that explains the story in English and it is quite easy to follow. We thoroughly enjoyed... More
