Great little restaurant just off he main strip. Really good value for money. We had the prosciutto with melon to begin and then I had the salmon and my bf had a diavola pizza which were both freshly made and very good, I highly recommend.👍🏼

Our friends took us to this wonderful Restaurant. Slightly off the main drag & set in its own 'courtyard' so you havent shoppers knocking into you! Indoor seating available if you prefer. Friendly staff. Excellent fresh food. Made to feel welcome. Had lunch & dinner. Both times very enjoyable.

Having had a second excellent meal at the Shelter restaurant and already bought some of their sun dried tomato pate, we decided to look in their shop in more detail. With a selection of balsamic vinegars and olive oil you become accustomed to having with bread at every meal, pasta, condiments and so much more you'll be stuck with a decision of what to take back. Definitely worth visiting the shop and even better after eating at the restaurant.

Time goes so quickly - our wonderful week in Sicily is already 6 weeks behind us - it makes me glad we brought home some special things from this lovely store, which is very graciously hosted by the owners of the restaurant next door. BOTH are worth the time and money to patronize. Each time we use our mandarin infused olive oil, we wish we'd found a little more room in our suitcases to bring home a few more...and the chocolate we chose is also a special delight. We so enjoyed spending time here tasting their Sicilian delicacies and learning about them; they made us and our son feel totally welcome, and our business appreciated.

It says a lot to me when you go to a restaurant twice in one week. We have enjoyed delicious pasta and grilled seafood at this cosy place in Taormina. (Wish I could return right now) But, this review is about their shop just next door. During and after our lovely dinner, we were offered some delicious local products and wine that they sell. After having a sip of the Zibibbo wine, I was sold!!! It is a digestivo, perfect to acompany sweet dishes like a tiramisu, panna cotta or ice cream. We also tried differented types of paté, like eggplant, black olives, pistache (!!!!!!) and one made of cherry tomatoes. I don't think it is possible to leave the shop without buying one of these delicious Silician goodies. But why not prolong your vacation and continue to enjoy back at home ;-) That is what I am doing now.
