Private Sailing Tour to Cyclops Islands from Catania

4 reviews
This is Private 6 hours sailing experience (from 10am to 16pm). The boat will be reserved just for you and your guests. We will cruise through the Gulf of Catania, see the Etna and Catania by the sea, sailing along the Coast of the Cyclops, swim in front the Ulisse's Grotto. At Lunch time we will go first in front the medieval Castle of Aci Castello, then we will stop the boat in front of the Faraglioni Rocks near the natural reserve "Isole dei CICLOPI", there you can go dive or snorkeling renting the equipment (Extra option) or have fun swimming around the sailboat in that crystal waters. In the while time we will prepare the lunch on board to let you enjoy a typical sicilian menu prepared on board from our sailor chef. At the end we will set the sail to go back to Catania port and we will provide some sailing notions or we can continue with the party on boat.

What a shame, a nice atmosphere decent service then you get the bill. 9 euros for a basic white wine and 17 euro for a gin and tonic. Most expensive drinks we had anywhere and this isn't in the main square. Avoid unless being ripped off does not offend you.

We stopped for lunch today and had excellent pizza and salad....the pizza bases were incredibly tasty - the best in a long time - and all the ingredients really fresh. The staff were all very helpful and friendly....an excellent find!

This bar has a great atmosphere and very friendly and accommodating staff. It's situated between two other restaurants, so it's great for a pre or post dinner drink! You can also eat a light meal here when other restaurants are closed, just in case you miss lunch or are hungry for dinner, early! Another plus to this place is that it seemed to be quite a bit cooler, both jn ambience and in terms of temperature, than places up on the corso, that are in full sun. I enjoyed a couple of mojitos, made by Federico and they were awesome. A good place to relax and unwind in the late afternoon. I left before the purple lights came on however and before it officially became a lounge bar. I'll have to check it out in the future!! Highly recommended! Prices in keeping with the rest of Taormina.

Very friendly and accommodating (English speaking) staff, amazing pizza covered with chunky delicious toppings and delicious local/guest Sicilian beer. Also lots of shade so you can hide from the strong midday sun! No highchairs but we'd come again anyway.
