Well worth the money. A great experience and fabulous food. We would have never found these shops on our own. It was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a group of 5 adults and one baby - they arranged a trip for us with only one day warning. I highly recommend this tour to really experience Florence.

My wife and I are visiting Florence for the first time and wanted an orientation to the city, the food and the markets. Tony, our guide, was absolutely fabulous!! We met at a small shop dedicated to pork....sausages of all descriptions, hams and various cuts of pork. We were presented numerous samples of each product and receive complete explanations of... Alessandro was our guide through the central market and local small eateries. He was exceptionally informative. Also very knowledgeable during the wine tasting. We would not have enjoyed our visit without his tour. Highly recommend!

We're not huge tour fans, but anything related to food is usually a winner for us. Our local guide Karen was extremely knowledgeable about Tuscan cuisine and very friendly and engaging. When we booked the tour we let the company know about our allergies and they accommodated everything at each stop (including vegetarian options). We visited bakeries, butchers, the San... More

I can't say enough good things about this tour!!! The guide (Alessandro) was articulate, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. The itinerary (a tour of butcher shops, bakeries, wine shops, and other local stores) was well thought out and perfect for the 4-ish hour time frame. We only visited small locally owned stores/shops, and had time to do a little shopping after... More

We almost never do tours when we travel. However a friend recommended this as a must do in Florence. After the experience I have to agree completely. It was a great way to see the city, and our guide was perfect. Kerry (I hope I spelled that correctly) was my favorite tour guide of all time. She had a wonderful... More

Alex was so knowledgeable and took us to the most delicious local spots! We went during low season, so my husband and I were the only ones on the tour. We learned about the food and culture as we stuffed our face with the most decadent and tasty Florentine eats. Alex speaks impeccable English and there was not a dull... More

Alessandro, our guide, was the knowledgeable son of a chef and gave us valuable insights about Florentine food and its preparation. We went back to more than one of the little bakeries and hidden gems that he introduced us to, including the best and most authentic gelato in Florence. The tour was well organized and the stops well chosen as... More
