We had this pre booked for our second day, a little late out of the blocks because of a late show guest, quite annoying really because the driver had an Airport pick up so we needed to finish on time even though we started late and especially sine my wife and I who were the only others on the tour had arrived very early. That aside the guide Claudia was very professional and helpful also knowledgeable so it seemed pretty much like the private tours we normally take. We had two stops with excellent panoramic views of the city from vantage points on opposite sides, I was able to take some good pictures and got a good feeling of the significance of some beautiful landmarks, I have included a number of shots, I.must say though the hop on hop of bus was everywhere we were so we will be on that for the next three days for a more leisurely look at the sights.…

Those who love history and want to see and feel the history rich Florence up close will be disappointed on this tour. As for us we had just one day in the city and a glimpse of all the main attractions was good enough. We didn't know much about the city so the basic information shared on the tour helped to understand the place better. The bus makes fast movement across the city and you literally have to roll from one side to another to see and capture the places passing by. The entire ride lasted for some 2 hours. Didn't know much about Florence before this tour, but learned quite a bit. I knew there would be physical history being an old town, but was amazed to learn about all the historical people from the area. Go if you have the chance!

Bus went too fast and the commentary was not at all good. Could not tell where the buildings were. It was useful for a trip out to Fiesole but cafes there very pricey!
