We've done many Walkabout Tours over the years and I'm pleased to write another review for three exceptional experiences we had during our last visit to Florence. 1. We had a blast driving the classic Fiats around Florence. We scheduled our driving experience for a Sunday morning so that we'd have less traffic to contend with and it turned out... More

We had an amazing day trip. Olivia, the guide was great. Emiliano, the bus driver, was very experienced and helpful. Siena, San Giminiano and Pisa were spectacular! Lunch was delicious and the owners of the Farm were very nice too.I truly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tuscan area of Italy.

My husband and I were in Florence in November (30/11/2016) and our agent had booked us with Walkabout Tours for the Best of Tuscany tour that included a trip to the charming Siena, followed by a wonderful Tuscan lunch plus wine tasting in one of the farms located in the rolling hills of the beautiful country side,a trip to San Gimignano... Have always wanted to do a cooking class in Italy and this one fit the bill nicely. My teenage daughters and I arrived at Walkabout Tours 9.45 to a lovely small group (there were 12 of us, plus then my husband popped up after 10 minutes and joined the tour). We started off on a walking tour of Florence with... More

I would recommend this experience to EVERYONE! it was what I imagined and even more. Our guide Lavinia was lovely, she took us through town and to the market and the vibe she gives trough out the tour is very welcoming and warm. After that we headed to the property where the cooking class is given. The place itself takes... More

This Trek was pretty much the best part of our trip! If you are into hiking, not strolling, and love beautiful scenery then I highly recommend the Cinque Terre Trek! The Trek is an all day adventure, so be prepared to walk and hike a lot! Recommend sun screen, good hiking shoes, water bottle, and camera! Our tour leaders, Freddy... More

We did the vespa tour in Florence and it was by far the best day we had there. Our tour guide Matteo was fantastic, he was really friendly and made us feel at ease from the get go. He was extremely knowledgeable and would always be willing to answer any questions we had. The tour itself was amazing, the views... More

My partner and I had a great day with Lavinia, first with a walk through Florence, and then on the beautiful Tuscan hillside location for the relaxed cooking class and meal(s). The cooking classes were very well planned and coordinated, and the facilities were amazing. The food was delicious and the wine was too! I'd highly recommend the experience! Thanks... More

This was an absolutely amazing experience! Our guide was Lavinia and she was fantastic. She was fun, informative and made the whole experience feel very personal. She did a great job at explaining the markets, cuisine and traditional Tuscan lifestyle. The farmhouse was amazing and our chef Isaac and authentic Italian cook Carmella were so nice and informative. They made... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
