Even if you have limited time, Piazza Della Repubblica is worth at least a walk through. As with any big city, protect your possessions from thieves. If you have time you can shop or find roof top restaurants to enjoy a unique and exclusive view.

I think is the biggest piazza in Florence.Nice to watch and nice to stay as well.not to miss because is in good location

This is my favorite piazza in Florence.....day or night it's full of life. Sit at one of the restaurants and watch the kids play on the carousel or people watch.

This is a wonderful piazza to visit. It is quite large and always full of people. There is a carousel in the centre of the square and it is busy too. This is a quite central city square and we walked by it several times....More

This square is in the centre of town. We were told it was where the Romans had their main headquarters back in the day. Today there is a carousel in the square and it is a large open space to gather your thoughts.
