the views of Firenze are wonderous. It is a tourist spot, lots of people hiking the many stairs to the top of the tower but the views are great. If you are in good shape go early and avoid the bigger crowds.

My wife and I climbed the many stairs to get to the top of the Campanile. It is crowded but the view was fantastic. You should be able to hike without help to make it to the top.
