We had a class ‘in person’ in Florence a few years ago and loved the friendly, easy-going expertise and fantastic recipes. We have been making the tiramisu regularly since! We recently had an online class during lockdown and it was fantastic. Manuela is the perfect teacher and guide and really helped us to get a handle on making fresh, gluten free pasta. Highly recommended!…

Last year while in Florence, my wife and I attended Mauela's cooking class. It was fun, personal, and we learned how to make some amazing Italian dishes! When cooking in her kitchen, she really makes you feel welcomed by her family. Should we find ourselves in Italy again, we will be taking another one of her classes!…

We were there in February 2020. Took a cab away from all the touristy neighborhoods for this cooking class. Meeting Manuela felt like seeing an old friend. She is very friendly and welcoming. I love her kitchen set up, I actually picked up a few things from her (keep herbs fresh in a glass jar with water, not in the cold fridge). She gave us options for a few dishes, once we decided we went straight to cooking. Everything went smoothly from one plate to the next. I now make better meatballs thanks to her recipe, and pasta- who knew making pasta was so easy? Okay, I didn’t but now I do. Having the recipe is one key but having an expert oversee how you prepare things and explain why one method is better gave me an improved understanding to the art of cooking. We only spent 2 days in Florence but we are absolutely satisfied with our decision to cook with Manuela. We were cultured in a unique way that a museum or sacred historical ground could not compare.…

This was better than we could have imagined! It was just my fiance and I and another couple that we did not know. It was a very personal and authentic experience and the food was fantastic! We made a whole host of pastas and sauces and it was all hands-on. The instructor guided us but we were definitely the cooks! Manuela was an excellent host! She welcomed us with fresh coffee, treated us to prosecco at the end and even called a cab for us when it was time to leave. Her home is definitely out of the Florence city center so hailing a cab would have virtually impossible. They also did an excellent job accomodating my fiance's lactose intolerance. He was able to eat everything yet no one in the group missed out on anything because of his constraints. I cannot say enough great things about this experience!…
