Great place, great atmosphere, A lot of effort and passion in every cocktail by the owner, Marco, who designed and realized these alcoholic (and not) masterpieces

This cozy little bar is eccentric, eclectic and serves the most interesting cocktails you have ever seen/heard of. The owner is passionate about his mixology and his concoctions are like little works of art. And tasty. A must do if you visit Florence.

We found this place on out last night and wish we discovered it sooner. The cocktails are to die for and the mixologist is a real character, happy to chat to us and let us taste some of the cocktail ingredients. Lovely environment, but could do with a bit of heating, it was chilly when we went. There were still... More

Cool decorations, delicious drinks, and a nice atmosphere. Went on a Wednesday which was a very quiet night so not sure how it is usually.

The Mayday Club is a lovely little gem in Florence. Marco's drinks are not inventive for the sake of it - his combinations of flavours are designed to give pleasure. A wonderful experience and I hope to be back soon!

We found this place as somewhere for a quick drink before dinner and ended up here till midnight - absolutely AMAZING. We were the only ones in there for a while which was fine as the service was as incredible as the cocktails. Post war theme in some parts, comfortable, eclectic, popcorn, great music - can't ask for much more... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
