We went for the buffet , and the food was good but the table here is the bufett should be in another place because it’s a small place . The staff is friendly, always smiling

After moving to this very Florentine neighborhood with almost no expats 3 years ago we discovered Bar Bella Blu. On nights we are too tired or lazy to cook and wish some social interaction, we walk to this convivial spot and enjoy a glass of wine with an exceptionally good buffet aperitivo table--all for €11 and it does seem hardly worth shopping and cooking. On a recent night the table contained three nice pasta dishes, an asparagus risotto, slices of turkey and prosciutto, cheeses, bean salad and lots of fresh vegetables among other offerings. It was constantly replenished with new dishes. They also offer an assortment of desserts and fruit. Jarrod the owner/barman mixes wonderful drinks, always has a smile on his face and welcomes his regular customers with a special story or sometimes an extra glass of wine from something he opens from the cantina.
