Worth a trip up to Fiesole and the Piazza Mino. The statues are both classic and modern and quite wonderful!

By chance we arrived on market day. There were stalls selling an asdortment of things from lollies to lace to jewelry to wooden hand crafts. Interesting. The piazza is a nice size with glimpses of Florence in the distance.

Nice little town that's stone's throw from Firenze. Plenty of history from Etruscan to Roman to Catholic Church. The panorama of Firenze is not to be missed.
