You want to see Florence and Pisa? Take the BUS! We booked the tuscanybus tour from Livorno to Florence to Pisa and back to the start right in front of our ship in the Livorno harbor, grazie mille for that! It couldn´t have been easier. AIDA was late this morning but the guy‘s from tuscanybus already knew and so the tour started stresslessly. Our driver was Francesco, our guide for the day Alessandro. I thought we had just booked the transfer to the cityies, but it turned out to be much more. Florence is approximately 90 kilometre inland, Pisa also about 40 minutes from Livorno. We wanted to see it all and the transfer as uncomplicated as possible and yet we didn´t hav to pay the exorbitant cruise ship prices. Tuscanybus gave us an experienced guide for our route. I think Alessandro studied history so he made an excellent guide to the Toscana and a perfect day for us. He told us everything about the harbor in Livorno and its formation; he knew everything about the famous Medici who ruled Florence for 300 years. We got a map of Florence and all the information we needed to explore the picturesque inner city. Alessandro didn´t promise too much! On our way to Pisa when we were crossing Lucca Alessandro told us about the historical vendetta between the cities, about the towers and the actual rituals for young students in Pisa! Have you become curious? Ask Alessandro. What else can I say?! Well, as to the service: We weren´t just dropped at a parking lot. Alessandro took us by foot to the central spots from where we could explore the famous attractions these historical cities have to offer. Like I said first: Take the (tuscany)bus and hopefully you also get a smart guide like Alessandro!

This is the most amazing company. The pre-Tour contact was already superfriendly (via whatsapp). We were supposed to arrive at Livorno dec 21st with the NCL Spirit. At 5pm on 20 dec captain announced Livorno was cancelled. I called Tuscanybus and they said they also found out and were reembursing all customer that had booked with them. This is soooo friendly that We will make sure we always use them when in Tuscany on future trips. Also Please NEVER use B-tickets.com to buy tickets. I emailed them about the issue, they sent an unfriendly answer (not even the word regret or sorry) 3 days later that bookings cannot be changed (we wanted to go to the museum post-Cruise instead). In Sum: THUMBS UP for Tuscanybus. we love you.

We were on a cruise ship so took the shuttle to meet this bus tour. I booked this online and it was real easy to book. Plenty information on what to expect and where to meet. Easy to meet a spot this tour bus. Given a good amount of time at each stop to do by ourselves and re-meet the bus. First Lucca where we had a good 3hrs to explore. Then onto Pisa where the 90 mins was ample time to see this area. Our tour guide was really helpful. The bus was comfortable and clean.Could HIGHLY recommend to do this tour.

We wanted to see Florence and Pisa without having to pay the exorbitant prices the cruise ship was charging for excursions. We took the shuttle from the ship to the city center, and our bus to Florence was waiting. Emma, the assistant, and George, the driver, were very helpful and informative. The bus station, which is BEHIND the train station, was not a very convenient location: there was a lot of extra walking for my 90+ year old dad, which we had not anticipated; but we did manage to see the highlights of Florence and get back to the bus on time. On the way to Pisa, Emma asked if people would like her to arrange the "tourist train" to take us from the bus parking area to the cathedral area, for a small extra fee. This was very much appreciated!!!! Emma was also very careful to warn us about pickpockets and Gypsies-always good information, even for experienced travelers. After was visited Pisa, we returned to Livorno- George was able to take us directly to the cruise port and drop passengers at 4 different ships. This was much appreciated!
