it would be to Lucca and it would be because of this wall which has been made into a wonderful park. It is accessible from so many points around the city and provides for many activities: biking, running, walking, playground areas for children.

It was nice to walk on the castle walls and breath the fresh air... It is hard to see the main gates but interesting to see the river surrounding the walls

At least 2 bike hire places located close to the entry/exit points of the wall. Easy to spot in such a small town.

I don't know as we didn't bother with bikes as it is so easy to walk around

As far as I know there is no luggage storage at teh train station. However there is a bike rental place nearby that stores luggage. touristcenter lucca I also saw a 3 year old post about a bike shop. Not sure if it is the... More
