It is really a dream place to go in Lucca. Would you want a relaxing time to walk in the green or having sport with no path issues? Go to the Mura di Lucca. You can go up in any slope you find.

I love returning to Lucca. Its wonderfully maintained and laid out ramparts are certainly on of the key highlights. Also the Napoleon plaza.

We had a great time riding around here. It is flat and a fabulous way to see the beauty Lucca has to offer. Highly recommend this activity.

The air is clear and the views north and East to the mountains were fantastic as were the views down over the city itself. If you are in Lucca and have two hours then this is a 'must do'.

Magic walk on the giant walls of Lucca, always like the first time. Just stopped here for 30 minutes, the time to see again those walls in a quite Friday morning.

This is a must see in Lucca - beautiful walk around the city with views of everything from the walls to mountains in the distance. Great place for an early morning run, or afternoon walk. Lots of tourists but also lots of locals!

Our family group of 7 adults spent 8 days in Lucca and walk some or all of the walls nearly every day. This gave a great overview of the city and a chance to see the locals enjoying this gem as well. Bicycles and pedal...More

I actually didn't rent a bike but walked Lucca including the walls (le mura). However bikes are the best way to get around in Lucca. The Tourist Center Lucca (a private tourist office) and Biciclette Poli in Piazza S.Maria... More

At least 2 bike hire places located close to the entry/exit points of the wall. Easy to spot in such a small town.
