I have wanted to walk the walls of Lucca for years and was not disappointed. A memorable stroll which is particularly delightful in the cool of the morning or at sunset. Lovely tree-lined walk with good views over the city,

Very hot in Lucca, but a cool gentle breeze up on wall path, full of people walking, biking having picnics. Great place to cool down and enjoy the sights both in the old city and outside the city.

This is a great walk, flat and mostly shaded with places to eat and drink along the way. Lots of joggers and families on bikes having fun.

I went for a walk on the walls almost every day of my stay in Lucca. It's remarkable how they have done it so it's accessable for everyone.

We totally enjoyed visiting this attraction in Luca. It's one of the find gyms that the city has to offer. It was in walking distance to all areas of the city.

Whether you walk, run, or cycle around there is nothing like it. It's an amazing piece of history that affords an amazing view all around. There's restaurants and places to have picnics. It's what makes Lucca special.

The ramparts of Lucca surround the entire city and present a unique pathway for walkers and cyclists alike. They are probably some of the most complete and well preserved medieval walls in Italy. Either side of the route are lines of trees providing shade in...More
