If you visit the Duomo, then do cross over and see all the wonderful things in this museum. The gold ornaments for the Holy Cross were stunning.

The cathedral is a must visit. Buy the combo ticket that gives you access to the Cathedral, the Tower and the Archeological dig under the Bapistry (and its tower). Spectacular city views from the Cathedral Tower, but the real treasures are inside the Cathedral.

This was my forth trip to Italy and I finally made it into this church. The outside structure captured my attention and I felt the need to go visit. There was no cost to visit, it is a quiet church but very welcoming. I know...More

We are not museum people but our friend told us to go on the basis of the bejewelled garments and headgear that are on display that would be worn through the streets for the forthcoming parade. As we weren't going to be there we thought...More

We found the museum somewhat boring. Maybe if you are into religion it may be of interest to you. The were a few special artifacts but this was not really our scene.

We really enjoyed the treasures in this museum which was made more understandable with a good audioguide. The 1st floor has some gorgeous illuminated manuscripts, a couple of which have the large print needed by the choir during the mass since they only had one...More

This is one of many examples of really neat Luchese use of historical spaces for a new activity. [For another near example, see how a standalone library was slickly placed in historical San Ponziano church.] The duomo-linked collection is small but astounding; go through the...More
