Although we did a number of the requisite "tourist" sites, Alessandro opened up the city of Pisa to us in a very unique and enjoyable way. This was more than just a "present the facts about the things we were seeing" tour. We had far reaching conversations about the basic history of Pisa, the influence of philosophy and the roles of politics and religion in Pisa rich history. It was informative, entertaining and truly eye opening. He also brought us to a old hotel on the Arno river and took us to the top for beautiful skyline view of the city. This tour was so worth it. Alessandro was fun, engaging and very intelligent. It was as thought we were being taken around by an old friend who loves and cares deeply about his home city!…

Our family of six (parents, 10year/7year children, grandparents) planned an afternoon tour of Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, Italy. Signor Alessandro Bargagna met us promptly and was an absolute gracious ambassador of his home city. We enjoyed the acoustical harmony and subtle symbology of the Baptistry; the architecture and interior decorations of the Cathedral; and the great views from the top of of the Leaning Tower. Alessandro also ensured our children were engaged by incorporating local stories and legends into our tour. Overall, our family had an excellent afternoon visit of Pisa with City Grand Tour - thank you!…

I had dreamt of visiting Pisa since I was a little girl. Alessandro's tour of Pisa was everything we hoped for and more! He was kind, energetic, and very knowledgable! The fact that he was a native of Pisa made the tour even more focused and authentic. We loved his detailed narratives of every location and the option to select which ones to tour in greater detail. The cemetery is not to be missed! We also enjoyed the part of the tour when he took us into real Pisa - where people live and work and play. He had great museum and restaurant recommendations. An all around A+!…

Our group of 12 had a walking tour with Alessandro of Pisa, and I can't say enough positive things about our experience. From start to finish he was professional, personable, and went out of his way to show us the best of his beautiful city. Alessandro was able to show us the true Pisa in just 3 hours, and we could not be more grateful!…
