Very interesting museum. We were unable to attend the video screening because of our timing, but we wandered around the rooms and enjoyed it. Be sure to step out on the balcony in the dining room for an amazing view.

We took refuge from the crowds in Torre e Casa Campatelli and were highly impressed by the superb audio visual history of the town and house on the top floor (finished with a humerous personal story from an FAI representative at the end), immersive interiors...More

Everyone should visit this house on Via San Giovanni and see an interesting audio visual of the history of San Gimignano before going round the town. The house itself is also very interesting even though you can't go to the top of the tower.

A great visit based on a recommendation. Excellent history lesson of San Gimignano and a real insight into the Campitelli family.

One of the best tourist attractions in San Gimignano. A real house lived in until recently by real people - a true slice of life, along National Trust lines.

This palace still looks lived in and has interesting notes about how the family lived in the early 19th century which help to bring it alive. It also has a well presented audiovisual display which provides an overall history of the town. A great place...More

The excellent video is about 25 minutes. The tour (walking around on your own) is about 30 minutes. It depends on how interested you are in furniture, soft furnishings, wallpaper, etc. It could take longer if you are... More
