Piazza Del Campo is a shell-shaped square that forms the heart of Siena. On one side is the Palazzo Comunale (town hall) and the 102 meter high Torre del Mangia and on the other side it is full of inviting terraces. We pick out restaurant Manganelle at random.

Place might be really packed, especially over the weekend. Best to enjoy a Spritz at Aperitivo time in one of these nice terraces (forget about service ;) )

A beautiful main square in the city with restaurants and shops around the edge. It was nice to come here after eating at a restaurant and sit with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the atmosphere of the place. I didn't eat at any of the restaurants here as I got told by many they are the typical tourist trap - expensive and not the best food... but it's certainly nice enough to have a wine or two and gives you a good vibe of the city.…
