Or just crazy! It's not hard to imagine the conversion of the piazzo during the Palio. The Campo is the center of the City. It is larger than I had expected. Beautiful. Touristy eatieries along the perimeter. But off the Campo, there are some real...More

Large open space for relaxing in the sun. There are numerous shops selling food around the square but be prepared to pay over the price for what ever you want to eat or drink. Go off the square up a side street and pay have...More

After walking through some of the streets of Siena you arrive here. Whichever route your arrive through you will get a stunning vista. Take your time and look around there are multiple photo opportunities. How exciting must this piazza be for the horse race?

An excellent square, which creates a natural ampitheatre where it never feels too crowded - great spot for the holiday snap! They race the Palio twice a year which I can only imagine is incredible.

Relax and have a coffee and enjoy the space and architecture of the Piazza. The closest parking is at Caterina and the 6 flights of escalators make the trip to the city centre much easier.

Great place to choose a restaurant for dinner, grab a gelato, or enjoy a glass of wine. Lots of shops to browse around the Piazza. One evening a live band performed and an antique car show was presented. In Siena the place to be...

Great place to visit. Loved watching the children pretend to ride horses around. Oozing history. The morning sun on the buildings opposite the tower provides stunning postcard photo opportunities. The afternoon is the best time to get the sun on the tower.

Gives us the GOT vibes!!! Is a very nice piazza to walk around and explore. The place isn't huge ... All the buildings and alleys give you strong medieval feel which is very cool... Yes it is a bit touristy but still ok. Glad we...More

Yes, parking within the ancient city walls can be quite difficult, though you can park outside the walls and walk in. As with most ancient sites, the central city is pretty small and walkable, so you don't need a car. If... More
