I am a qualified private tour guide for Tuscany, official cheese taster and wine expert. I have been taking clients from all over the world around Siena and the surrounding areas of Tuscany including San Gimignano, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano and Cortona since 2006. I conduct different types of tours including art tours, wine tours in the Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti and Vino Nobile wine districts: artisans tours, garden tours as well as private wine, olive oil and cheese tastings.

I have access to many famous and boutique wineries throughout the region and I thoroughly enjoy the pleasure my guests have in learning about and tasting wines and cheeses.

I customize my tours and offers arranging special events (Palio tickets, private luncheons and visits, cooking classes) for different type of clients (individuals, groups, family reunions, families with kids, honeymooners, seniors etc).

From our initial contact via email through our fabulous custom designed tours, through our follow up contact post journey, Antonella is an absolutely fabulous gem. After learning of our interests, she designed 2 days of incredible sight seeing, tasting, experiencing, learning, absorbing, relishing, loving, all in Sienna and the countryside of Tuscany. I will never go NEAR these areas without... More

We had a wonderful two days touring with Antonella in Siena and the countryside. It was a second time for my husband and me but wow did we learn a lot. I would highly recommend that you hire her because you will enjoy it so much more than trying to read it in a book. She is delightful and so... More

We thought our visit with Antonella in Montisi was the best part of our entire trip to Italy. Her hospitality and friendship went above just renting Casa Parva to us.We highly recommend the experience.

Our morning in Siena with Antonella was one of the highlights of our three weeks in Italy. Not only is she charming, informative and funny but she is someone I could imagine being friends with if I lived in Tuscany. Rick Steves describes her as "enjoyably opinionated", which she most certainly is, but also honest, responsive and charming. My husband... More

Let me first start by saying my family and I travel the world and I am a level 5 reviewer on Tripadvisor. Rarely ever do I say that someone is the best but Antonella is exactly that. Her knowledge and kindness are not to be believed. From the moment we reserved our day with her in Siena through Trioadvisor two... More

Our time in Siena with Antonella was definitely one of the highlights of our travels in Italy. We are generally independent travellers but felt that it would be useful to have some local knowledge and insider's insights into this fascinating city and we are so thrilled that we found Antonella. She was passionate, humorous, generous and incredibly knowledgeable and adopted... More

Antonella gave us an amazing tour of Siena including the best sites and history of the town. It was fun, informative and she was very accommodating. Her knowledge of the history, including art around the town was impressive. Overall a great experience and we would definitely use her again!

Our family of 17 ranging in age from 2 through 74 rented a villa in Trequanda. Fortunately, Antonella was out tour guide for the area and Siena. She made our stay very special, personally toured Siena, San Gimignano, Monte Oliveto, Pienza, a personal wine tasting and so much more. Antonella arranged for a Guide for an enlightening visit to Arezzo... More

Our trip to Tuscany was a present for my son who had just graduated high school. We wanted more than just the unusual tours of medieval towns and churches. Antonella delivered! We toured Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena; tasted cheese, visited an olive oil farm, had a cooking lesson and much more. Antonella is very knowledgable about medieval history, architecture and art.... A family vacation to Italy was highlighted by our 1/2 day tour of Siena with Antonella Piredda. Her historical knowledge made the city come alive for us. If you merely want to "see" the city of Siena, you can do it alone. But if you want to "experience" Siena, then I highly recommend that you allow Antonella to walk you... More
