Maybe we were just tired but after being in the Cathedral next door, this felt very small and underwhelming. It's pretty but we ended up leaving after a short 15 min visit.

We bought the one pass to view the Duomo, crypt, battistero, and museum. The art is impressive--read up on it before you go so you can understand the full scope of what you're seeing. I wouldn't see this on it's own, but in conjunction with...More

While it is hard to rate attractions, I think that this was my favorite church attraction in Italy. It is small, but so vibrant and full of stories painted all over the walls and ceilings.

Part of the combo ticket to the cathedral. The baptistery is actually attached to the back side of the church, not a separate building, so we passed it by accident. Look for the intimidating stairs! Worth seeing, but not a must if you are pressed...More

The "simple" white marble façade hides a richly decorated interior, with b&w marble striped walls, amazing frescoes on the ceiling and the wonderful baptismal font, in bronze and marble, sculpted by Donatello, Lorenzo Ghiberti, Jacopo della Quercia and others.

Some good artworks and nice frescos however it would certainly not be worth the individual ticket. The duomo, the museum and crypt are so much better. It only takes 10mins but don't worry if you miss it.

This Baptistry behind the Duomo is very beautiful and contains paintings and sculpture, along with the large baptismal fount. Include it in your combo ticket - along with the Duomo and the crypt.

The Baptistry is a must-see after visiting the marvelous cathedral. Although a religious building, it is a beautiful work of art that includes frescos, sculptures and other decorative features by some of the greatest Italian artists of all time, including Donatello and Ghiberti. If in...More

after the splendour of the duomo, this seems a tad more low key. However, some interesting frescoes above the font.

You can buy a ticket that includes five parts of the cathedral and this is one. If you do not buy the ticket then skip doing the baptistry on it's own.
