This is the creation of the local painter, Ottaviano Nelli and his workshop and it gives a charming glimpse into life in the early fifteenth century. This modest church next to the Porta Romana has a few not well preserved frescoes. At the north side though, you will see a beautiful organ case!

The church Sant'Agostino is absolutely an attraction to add on the top list attractions of the city, located far enough away from the center and tourist hub, near the Roman gate. Obviously the highlights of this wonderful church are beautiful paintings and absolutely unmissable.

The primary reason to visit the 13th century church of Sant' Agostino is for its frescos of the life of St. Augustine and the Last Judgement by Gubbio's most famous artist, Ottaviano Nelli.
