Perugia is a nice place to visit in a day. There are several elevators and escalators across the city to transport yourself from the several plateaus that this city has.

There is a nice square right next to the main walking street. Neat place to drop by and kill a few hours in connection with dinner or lunch. Though, do not go out of your way to go here.

I thoroughly enjoyed the venue, including the museum, cafes, and impromptu concerts. Everything from a symphony orchestra to folk dancing and street artists...I decided I wanted to retire to Perugia.

Perugia is a beautiful town, easy to explore with many interesting things to do. If you like Etruscan artifacts this is certainly a great place to visit. Good walking shoes are a must as it is somewhat hilly.
