By "coherent" is meant decor that is coordinated and not the rococo mish-mash that so many churches exhibit. The garden is more than a kitchen garden, but a retreat from the hubbub of the city. Well worth the walk from city center.

What a beautiful cathedral, full of mosaics, with the whole church covered in art. Went there for Sunday Mass, officiated by the resident Bishop who was joined by a small by very enjoyable choir. The Church is simply Spectacular, surrounded by gardens and lecture halls. It is truly a gem and should not be missed, if visiting Perugia

Every part of the interior is highly decorated, and many of the features deserve close study. There is amazing carving in the choir stalls, with dividing arm rests carrying mythical beasts. There are significant paintings everywhere, it just needs time to take it all in.

Well worth visiting, amazing artworks and magnificent architecture- a stroll in the garden is also highly recommended! The sacristy is beautiful.

This church is a gem. If you're lucky enough to be there for the Xmas or Easter concerts, with an overflowing audience, and beautiful night lighting, you will never forget it.

We were not prepared for the beauty of this church. It is truly lovely. In addition, the medicinal garden is a great place for a relaxing look at the lowlands beyond. See this church is you see any in Perugia.

A lovely very old church in the university area of Perugia. Inspiring by its elegant courtyard and entry.

One of the most beautiful churches I have ever been to and it is for free. Every inch is painted and just so serene. There is a lovely little garde behind it which is part of the college there.

What a surprise this was! Richly decorated church, every inch of wall was painted! There weren't many visitors, so it was easy to look around. It was a nice walk a little out of the city as well with surrounding gardens.

This church has to be visited - great architecture, mixture of construction styles and beautiful interior. Already when you enter the yard you can enjoy the arcaded sidewalk and than the most beautiful church in Perugia.
