This is a beautiful fountain in a small park. Iis very close to the city center. The important thing though is that this is the spot where you can take the 2 hour bus tour. If you are new to Basel as we were this...More

The fountain has 6-8 mechanical devices shooting water out. The sounds of the fountain make it a relaxing spot in the city. I’m positive any child would love this spot.

Various fountains in one pond performing different movements. I expected more from this so called dancing fountain.

Beautiful fountain. The kids loved watching all the moving components of the fountain. It was a great spot to sit and rest for a bit.

It‘s nice. Right next to the museum. Easily reachable by tram from anywhere in Basel. I forgot to take a picture.

How quaint. Very relaxing & calming 20 mins watching mechanical robots tread water in a pond. In the middle of the chaos, light relief

This was on our must see list and we visited it on our way to lunch on our 1st day in Basel. There are multiple characters involved in flinging and splashing. Fun

It has a bunch of moving parts that spit water and flap about. Very entertaining for 10 or 20 minutes. No ducks.

We sailed with Viking and were very happy with the organisation of the cruise. Friends have used Avalon and also enjoyed themselves, so have a look at each website and before you make up your mind. Our early June sailing was... More
