Have read the history of paper making in Basel so was excited to see the old factory, now a museum and making paper and marble patterened paper. Lots of information and very old books on display, staff where most helpful

This delightful, interactive museum is a great way to learn about the history of paper and be a part of paper production. Great for kids. The staff spoke multiple languages and were wonderful teachers.

At the momnet the entrance is 15 SFR. The "Basler Papiermühle" has an excellent home page with the fees, opening hours etc.

Trams an busses stop nearby, but the museum is within walking distance to downtown
