I live just 10 min away from Basel Munster and thoroughly enjoy my night walks witnessing this majestic beauty by the river. She reflects the seasons and lights up my spirit :)

Well worth a wander around the munster and environs. Some good statues on the exterior and the cloister is lovely. Highlight for us was the tower and views it offers some lovely steep wooden sections but mostly easy enough. Quite tight on the first external...More

One of the key sights of Basel. Looks huge on outside. Inside it is simple but has great stained glass windows. A must see destination but you do not need to spend a lot of time.

Situated overlooking the Rhine and gradually being restored. An extraordinarily ancient door/archway. My daughter was married outside here to her Swiss husband so it was a thrill to see Basel Munster.

I was a bit surprised that the Muenster is as small as it is. The ceilings, as with other gothic structures, was very high, but the nave itself is quite short. There are some lovely stained glass windows, but not very many. I’ve seen much...More

Yes, its 2 SFR pp. But sometimes they only let a minimum of 4 people go up. Why? Haven't a clue.
