This ferry is located near the Papermill Museum and is perfect to cross the river to go to Tinguely Museum. We went down steps to the water and boarded the ferry. Free with Basel Card. This ferry is a reactive cable ferry. It has no...More

Go downstairs behind Munster and catch the ferry. Only takes a few minutes and it’s a lovely walk along the river on the other side. Catch the tram back at either bridge.

We used this to cross the river. There are several different locations. It is interesting. About 1.80 CHF per person. Pay in cash.

Cute traditional ferry boat with easy crossing and dropped us Basel Munster. Used free pass from Basel Card so price was right. Sure saved some walking time from the opposite bank of the Rhine. Weather was perfect.

We had a Basel card and one free boat trip was included. Easy to find and the trip was fine and short.

The ferry is a every day part of Basel life and you get a free trip with your free Basel card. Its a very short trip, only 3min roughly, but a lovely view that is just as quick as the l walking that bridge
