Ok so you cannot really miss the jet in Geneva (if you are missing it, it doesn't go 24/7 there is a schedule on line or by the pier). You can get up quite close to it, and the walk along the lake to look...More

The water shoots up at over 120 mph to an impressive height of almost 300’. Just be cautious of the wind direction, especially if you plan to walk up close.

It's just a water jet shooting up into the air. Nothing special to see here. Nice quiet park by the lake though

The famous water jet or fountain is visible throughout most sites in Geneva. It is easy to use as a landmark when you explore Geneva-you won’t get lost!

We walked really close to the Jet and almost got wet due to change in find direction. It's an icon of Geneva and hard to miss its uniqueness. The serine blue water of the lake and the mountain backdrop add another dimension to this icon....More

A must go when visiting Geneva . Recommend to go and see it during the day and as well at night . We went to Paquis lake public pool and from there you see the jet d eau very nicely

There's no denying this is an impressive sight but perhaps best seen from the other side, it's more impressive and you won't get wet!

Not sure if it was by design or bad weather. the wind was blasting so maybe the water was causing a problem. Still worth seeing

Whilst walking around the lake itself, you cant help but see the Jet d'Eau but take time if you can to get up close and see it's powerful water plume. Just don't get wet! The jet is turned off at times so check first.
