We walked to Place Bourg du Four the first time we visited it during our trip to Gevena in Dec 2016. We then discovered there is a local small Bus No. 36 which runs up to and all around Old Town with several bus stops in the area at different places of interest. Place Bourg de Four is a lovely... When everything is closed on Sunday, this place is the best place to find a hot chocolate and to people watch.

We went to the centre of the old town, which gave us a look at the architecture of the time. We were also there today when the L'Escalade was on with the enactment of the 1602 defeat of the Duke of Savoy in the square with canons blazing and muskets firing.

Good place to have a coffee. This plaza is surrounded by 16th century houses and a 18th century fountain. Walk from here to visit the Hotel de Ville, where the Geneva Convention was signed, Maison Tavel, oldest house in Geneva, Cathedral St. Pierre, stroll on the promenade

Beautiful place in Old Town in Geneva. You will find some old buildings around, acfés, restaurants and a nice enviroment to take a seat and drink a coffee.

My daughter pointed out that the fascination of Geneva is partly that it is built on several levels. This place is a beautiful position from which you can appreciate this perspective.

Was a central market location many years ago, so more historic interest than anything else. Just a place to note on the way to other sites.

Just off the square are tons of restaurants with patios and not far from the cathedral makes this a good destination to not only check out a bit of the old town but grab something to eat, enjoy a glass of wine, rest your legs a bit or if it is hot like the day I was there, take a bit... More

A small square with a tiny park and lots of tourists watching other tourists having a drink in a big terrace. Do not expect too much. You get some nice photos, nothing else.
