The tour of the museum is quite a phenomenal it has a long history in many many clocks and watches design for royalty and other people. I thought there would be more of the modern watches but it really is more of a museum of petites history. If you love watches go

I love watches, so I could have stayed even longer than I did. Yes, it's true if you have children, they might become bored quickly. But if you appreciate fine things, you will be amazed by this collection put together by the Stern family. One floor is dedicated to Patek Philippe watches and another floor is dedicated to watches from... More

This is a hard review because the museum is laid out well, the pieces are well curated, and the staff was very friendly, but its really 4 floors of similar exhibits, primarily the private collection the Patek Philippe corporation and their watches. This museum does well by being included in the various museum passes, but we would not recommend it... More

Visited the Patek Philippe museum as we needed to get out of the rain and it was included in our Geneva Pass. The museum itself is excellently run, friendly staff, cloak room and is found in a superb building. For watch lovers this is a must, would recommend starting with the film on the entrance level. However we found it... More

I found the watches on display fascinating and beautiful. However I'm missing the art of how watches are made and maintained in the museum. It would be even more interesting as this would be added

It is very fascinating if you love clocks. If you do not love them, then it is still fascinating because of all the art surrounding the museum. It is not a must see I think but still, Switzerland is famous with its watches and clocks so, even if you are not interested in watches, it is a part of Swiss... More

I was under the misimpression that this was a museum dedicated to Patek Philippe and I was wrong. This is a museum deicated to all manner of manufacturers as a tribute to horology. Whilst one floor is dedicated to Patek Philippe the other floors reflect watchmaking and the tools and then some time pieces themselves...I was very fortunate to have... More

Fantastic for anyone who is interested in the history of horology or the history of the PP company. Theres a nice short cinema replaying a 15 minute video on the history of Patek Philippe on the ground floor, and 4 floors of watches, clocks and reference books above. In fact, there is so much it is even a little overwhelming... More

Was expecting this museum to blow me away but it didn't. It was interesting but three floors of basically the same thing got a bit boring. Everything is under or behind glass and few things are actually working. Also... note especially for women... staff is really persnickety about purses. I had a four by six inch shoulder purse that they... More
